Rustam Badasyan has submitted his resignation from the office of Chairman of the State Revenue Committee (SRC) of Armenia. Badasyan himself informed about this on Facebook.

"Special thanks to the employees of the RA [(Republic of Armenia)] State Revenue Committee.  I am confident that you will continue the work of institutional establishing of the SRC, strengthen international cooperation, the steps we have taken to combat corruption phenomena, and introduce new tools to serve taxpayers," Badasyan wrote, in part.

Earlier, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan confirmed that he had dismissed several senior officials.

Earlier, Armenian News-NEWS.am informed that according to press reports, resignations have been submitted by Rustam Badasyan, Chairman of the State Revenue Committee; Gnel Sanosyan, Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure; Vahe Ghazaryan, Minister of Internal Affairs; and Argishti Kyaramyan, Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Armenia.
