Israeli forces have destroyed more than 90% of the identified trategic surface-to-air missiles in Syria, the Israeli army (IDF) said in a statement.

According to the statement, in recent days, hundreds of fighter jets and planes of the Israeli Air Force have seriously damaged Syria's most strategic weapons: fighter jets and helicopters, Scud missiles, unmanned aerial vehicles, cruise missiles, precision-guided surface-to-sea, surface-to-air, surface-to-surface missiles, radars, etc.

It is also noted that the Syrian air defense system is one of the most powerful in the Middle East, and the damage caused represents “a significant achievement of the Israeli Air Force's superiority in the region.”
