Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan sent a congratulatory message to Francois Bayrou on his appointment as the new Prime Minister of France.
"I am convinced that our governments will continue close cooperation to expand the special relations established between our two states, based on the strong friendship of the Armenian and French peoples. I express my determined readiness to take steps with joint efforts to develop strategic cooperation between Armenia and France, particularly within the framework of economic cooperation.
We [i.e. Armenia] greatly underscore France's consistent efforts to establish security and a fair and lasting peace in our region. We highly appreciate your continuous attention and solidarity shown to the Armenian people on matters related to Armenia.
It will be a great honor to host you in Armenia on an official visit in the near future to hold meaningful discussions toward the further development of the Armenian-French cooperation," the message reads, in particular.
