Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu held a security meeting with the country's opposition leader Yair Lapid, the Times of Israel reported, citing an Israeli official.

Prime ministers are required to give the opposition leader an update once a month.

Netanyahu will later hold a security meeting with top aides, which is expected to focus on the upcoming truce agreement with Hamas in Gaza over hostages.
