During his speech at the meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council of the Eurasian Economic Union in Saint Petersburg, Russia, the President of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, expressed dissatisfaction with the physical absence of some participants of this meeting.
"Well, as the president, I would ask if our observers are interested in our union. I would ask to attend the meetings, not to tell us on television how they will cooperate with us. Nikol Vovayevich [Pashinyan], this does not apply to you. We know that you not only shaved your beard, but also got a little sick, so we perceive you as a new, young member of our union, at least outwardly," said Lukashenko.
Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan is participating in the session of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council remotely due to contracting the coronavirus.
