Ten thousand Ukrainian soldiers have been threatened with encirclement in Suja after Russia broke through the front line and advanced on a key supply line from two directions. The Telegraph reported.
The source said Ukraine was considering withdrawing troops from Kursk to avoid further losses.
Suja is in the Kursk region, part of which Ukraine seized last summer in a surprise offensive that gave it leverage in possible negotiations to end the war.
