At least 404 people, including children, have been killed in the new Israeli airstrikes that violated the ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, Al Jazeera reports.

But according to the health ministry of this Palestinian enclave, the death toll could rise as many casualties are still under the rubble.

Israel, which has been keeping Gaza under a complete blockade for more than two weeks, is issuing new orders for the forced displacement of the population in several areas.

These latest Israeli airstrikes, which were the most intense since the last ceasefire, have been condemned by Iran, Russia, Egypt, and the UN.
