YEREVAN.- In 2011 Armenia’s foreign policy was stronger: government and foreign office had accomplishments, political analyst Richard Giragosian told journalists on Tuesday pointing out three elements.

The first is stronger position on Armenia-Turkey process, as Armenia is supported by U.S., EU and Russia, while Turkey was pressurized, said Giragosian, director of Regional Studies Center.

Armenia also strengthened positions on the Karabakh problem, he said adding that Armenia’s stance is more “sincere and flexible” unlike Azerbaijani one.

The third accomplishment refers to Armenia’s relations with the EU, Giragosian stressed.
