YEREVAN. – Level of transparency of the Lake Sevan has increased by 3-3.5 up to 6-11 meters compared to previous years, Armenian Minister of Nature Protection Aram Harutyunyan told the journalists on Tuesday adding that it proves the quality of water has increased.
The Minister stated that currently the level of the lake is 1900.14 meters. It has increased by 3.6 meters since 2001.
In the end of this year level of Sevan Lake for the first time will exceed 1900 meters.
