YEREVAN. – Armenia’s Road Police presented on Tuesday surveillances cameras which will be installed in the capital’s streets. The system, therefore fines as well, will start functioning from January 15 next year.

The installation of the system is held within the reforms of Armenia’s Road Police. As a result of the tender, Armenia’s police signed a treaty with Security Dreams Company for 25 years.

The system will exclude any contacts between the Road Police and drivers to minimize corruption risks, deputy Chief of Police Arthur Osikyan told the journalists.
