Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan had a telephone conversation with US Secretary of State Marco Rubio, during which the parties discussed the results of the second round of direct talks between Russia and Ukraine in Istanbul, Turkish foreign ministry sources said, TASS reports.
“The steps being taken to end the war between Russia and Ukraine, as well as the results of the talks held yesterday [i.e. Monday] in Istanbul, were discussed,” the sources said.
