Armenia’s Deputy Foreign Minister Vahan Kostanyan on Wednesday met with Eden Bar Tal, Director General of Israel’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA), in Jerusalem, according to the MFA of Armenia.

During the meeting, both sides emphasized their readiness to work toward intensifying relations between Armenia and Israel, including in the political and economic spheres. Also, they exchanged views on ongoing developments in the South Caucasus and the Middle East.

During Kostanyan’s visit, the 12th round of political consultations was also held between the MFAs of Armenia and Israel. Detailed discussions were held on opportunities for cooperation in bilateral and multilateral formats. Also, high tech, medicine, agriculture, and tourism were highlighted as areas of mutual interest with greater potential for cooperation.
