US President Donald Trump has announced that he is ready to help Ukraine with security guarantees, as this is a necessary factor for the implementation of a peace agreement with Russia.
During a press conference, reporters noted that in July Trump committed to Europe to participate in peacekeeping forces if a peace agreement is signed.
A reporter asked whether that commitment still in force, and the US president's answer was positive.
Also, Trump said he believes that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy is not satisfied with the current peace agreement.
He added that the document consists of four or five different parts, and the process is complicated because it involves territories.
Moreover, Trump once again stated that the US gave Ukraine about 300-350 billion dollars, but did not receive anything in return. However, with the coming to power, results were achieved.
The president added that the US is not participating in the war, but is participating in the negotiations, because Ukraine and Europe want Washington's participation.
According to Trump, the war in Ukraine does not affect the US, unless the situation gets out of control. Otherwise, such things end in world wars. But Washington does not want this.
