The deputy head of the Department of Defense Policy and International Cooperation of the Ministry of Defense (MoD) of Armenia received members of the leadership of Georgia’s MoD Defense Institution Building School (DIBS) and participants of the institution’s Strategic Interagency Senior Course on Defense and Security.

The guests were briefed on Armenia’s security environment and the main directions of the transformation of the Armenian armed forces, after which the discussions continued in a question-and-answer format, the MoD of Armenia informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.

Within the framework of the visit, participants from Georgia’s DIBS were also hosted at the National Defense Research University of the Armenian MoD, where they discussed programs and prospects for cooperation between the two institutions.
