Saudi Arabia carried out airstrikes on the Yemeni port city of Mukalla early Tuesday morning, SPA reports.
The strikes targeted two ships from Fujairah, United Arab Emirates (UAE), carrying “large quantities of weapons and military vehicles” for the Southern Transitional Council forces, which are supported by the UAE.
The Saudi military said the attack was carried out at night “to avoid causing collateral damage.”
No casualties were reported.
