The US Armed Forces have awarded Boeing a $8.57 billion contract to deliver F-15 fighters to Israel.
According to a statement on the US Department of War website, this contract “provides for the design, integration, instrumentation, test, production, and delivery of 25 new F-15IA aircraft for the Israeli Air Force.”
The contract includes “an option for an additional 25 F-15IA aircraft” as well.
The Pentagon expects Boeing to complete this work by December 31, 2035.
