After January 1, 2026, appointments for the "Granting or termination of citizenship of the Republic of Armenia" are canceled, since the Armenian Law "On Making Amendments and Additions to the Law on Citizenship of the Republic of Armenia" comes into force on January 1, 2026, Armenian News-NEWS.am was informed by the embassy of Armenia in Belgium.

From now on, online registrations for submitting an application to obtain or terminate Armenian citizenship will be carried out only through the electronic citizenship affairs management system, which is accessible here.
