As per this decision, it is aimed at strengthening US defense capabilities and building a modern armed forces.

Trump announced his decision to increase the US military budget for 2027 from $1 trillion to $1.5 trillion.

According to the president, the additional funds will enable building the "Dream Military" and ensure the protection of the US from any threat.

Trump stressed that this increase in military spending is aimed at strengthening US national security and maintaining the country’s global leadership.

The president noted that this military budget increase was made possible by US tariffs imposed on other countries and the high revenues they receive, which enables considerable defense spending without harming domestic programs.
