Deputy Foreign Minister of Armenia Vahan Kostanyan on Friday met with the Minister of State for Europa at the Federal Foreign Office of Germany, Gunther Krichbaum, within the framework of his working visit to Berlin, Armenian News-NEWS.am was informed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia.

The prospects for the development of Armenia-Germany bilateral relations and the expansion of multi-sectoral cooperation were discussed. Both sides emphasized the importance of joint work towards the implementation of the points in the Declaration on the Strategic Agenda for Bilateral Partnership signed by the Prime Minister of Armenia and the Federal Chancellor of Germany on December 9, 2025.

Also, the interlocutors touched upon a wide range of matters related to the Armenia-EU strategic partnership agenda, and underscored the deepening of cooperation in that context.

During the meeting, views were exchanged also on a number of matters on the regional and international agenda.

Vahan Kostanyan presented to his interlocutor the opportunities expected as a result of the implementation of programs aimed at unblocking regional infrastructures, including the "TRIPP Route" project, under conditions of peace established between Armenia and Azerbaijan.
