The Zayed Award for Human Fraternity on Monday announced its 2026 laureates—and Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan is one of them.

Accordingly, the award committee lauds the agreement on the establishment of peace and interstate relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan as a process of peace, dialogue, normalization of relations and conflict resolution being implemented by the two countries, the press service of the Armenian government informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.

It emphasizes that reconciliation is not a one-time action, but a continued and consistent path.

Mohamed Abdelsalam, Secretary General of the Zayed Award for Human Fraternity, stressed the continued, consistent, and principled efforts of Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan to establish and strengthen peace.

The aforesaid award will be presented to the Armenian prime minister in February in Abu Dhabi.

The 2026 laureates were selected by an independent and world-class judging panel consisting of renowned figures and experts in dialogue and coexistence.
