The Armenian government presents the defeat in Stockholm as victory. Well-known Russian Armenian businessman and philanthropist Samvel Karapetyan, who owns the Tashir Group of companies, wrote this on Facebook—and regarding the decision of the Stockholm Arbitration Tribunal and the statement of the Armenian government on it.

Karapetyan added as follows: “The Stockholm Arbitration has reaffirmed the decision made in the summer, which obligates the government of Armenia to refrain from any steps against the ENA [i.e. the Electric Networks of Armenia company]. We are waiting for the law-abiding conduct of the government of Armenia: namely, the unconditional cessation of steps against the ENA. We will soon present a professional explanation of the decision in a statement from an international group of attorneys.”

As reported earlier, the Armenian government issued a statement Friday, and noted that the "Stockholm Arbitration Tribunal completely rejects all claims in Karapetyans’ mediation in ENA case, finding that their requested security measures are unfounded."
