President Volodymyr Zelenskyy of Ukraine has signed a decree terminating the country's participation in the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) agreement on the protection of state borders and maritime economic zones of the CIS member countries.
The aforesaid decree was posted on the official website of the Ukrainian president.
The decree states that Ukraine is withdrawing from the agreement signed between the CIS member states in Kyiv on March 20, 1992.
To note, Armenia is a member in the CIS.
