Secretary of the Security Council of Armenia, Armen Grigoryan, on Tuesday received Markus Ritter, head of the European Union civilian monitoring mission in Armenia (EUMA), on the occasion of the end of his term, the office of the Security Council of Armenia informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.

The Security Council chief thanked Markus Ritter for the cooperation and great work done, and emphasized that the deployment of EUMA has played an important role in ensuring security and stability in the region. Also, Grigoryan wished Ritter new successes and achievements.

The outgoing EUMA head, in turn, expressed gratitude for the assistance and cooperative relations provided over the years.

During the meeting, the interlocutors discussed matters of mutual interest.
