Flights at Bahrain International Airport have been temporarily suspended due to the closure of Bahrain’s airspace, according to a statement from the airport.

Flights will resume once the airspace is deemed safe. Passengers are advised to contact their airlines for updates.

According to Al Jazeera, Iraqi authorities have also announced the extension of the country’s airspace closure until 12:00 local time (9:00 GMT) on Tuesday as a “temporary precautionary measure.”

It should be recalled that since February 28 the United States and Israel have been attacking Iranian territory, leading to destruction and casualties. In response, Iran has been launching missile strikes on Israel and US military bases in the region. During the attacks by Israel and the United States, Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Seyed Khamenei and other high-ranking officials of the country were also killed.

On March 2, the Hezbollah movement also entered the war against Israel. Israel reported the start of an offensive operation against the movement.
