Armenia's Interior Ministry Police has submitted a report to the Investigative Committee in connection with the Foreign Intelligence Service's statement.

As previously reported, Armenia's Foreign Intelligence Service issued a statement about pressure being exerted on Armenian citizens in a certain country and interference in upcoming electoral processes.

"Based on the information received, following supervisory work carried out by the Interior Ministry Police, a report has been submitted to the Investigative Committee of the Republic of Armenia regarding an alleged crime consisting of obstructing the free exercise of electoral rights by materially influencing voters and coercing them into participating in elections through material or other dependency.

The Interior Ministry Police reminds that any illegal influence or interference in electoral processes is subject to legal assessment.
