Hraparak daily of Armenia writes as follows, in particular: The CC [i.e. the ruling Civil Contract Party and its parliamentary faction] will campaign in Vayots Dzor and Syunik [Provinces] this week under the name of an intra-party campaign, and they plan to hold the final campaign next week in Yerevan [ahead of the parliamentary elections in June].

CC sources do not hide their sadness that they are in a deplorable state in Yerevan and are thinking of new tricks—what to do to avoid embarrassment when passing through neighborhoods, yards.

The thing is that CC's rating in Yerevan is much lower compared to the provinces. And if they cannot avoid unpleasant moments in the provinces, they imagine what will happen in the capital. And now 2/3 of the voters are in Yerevan, and the vote of Yerevan residents will be decisive in these elections.

Therefore, if in the provinces [PM] Nikol Pashinyan could still act with an unpleasant attitude, shout at people, eat "corn and pirozhki," then in Yerevan such behavior may cost them dearly.

The CC assured us that the scenario of the Yerevan campaign is not yet known. We know that on March 27-28, the second round of CC intra-party elections will take place: they will compile the list of 50 people, with the voting of 1,000 delegates, and on April 4-5, they will hold a convention and approve the list of 50 already compiled.
