YEREVAN. – A soldier wounded in an incident on Armenia-Azerbaijan border is being transported to Yerevan, the Agarak hospital representative told Armenian News-NEWS.am.

Arthur Asoyan was first taken to the town of Sisian to be transported to Yerevan. He is in a moderately serious condition.

Head of the Armenian Defense Ministry’s hospital Aram Asaturyan said the solder had suffered a gunshot wound to his shoulder.

Servicemen of N military unit Norair Petrosyan and Arthur Asoyan, both being wounded, were found in a post on Friday. The soldiers were taken to Agarak hospital where Norair Petrosyan died. The incident was registered in the morning near Agarak on the border between Armenia and Azerbaijan
