YEREVAN. – Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan is not surprised that he is not on the election list of the ruling Republican Party of Armenia (RPA), ahead of the forthcoming parliamentary election in the country.
“For me, it’s not surprising that I’m not on the list of the Republican Party,” the PM on Wednesday stated during his talk with students at Yerevan State University. “There could be restriction which I don’t meet.”
In Karapetyan’s view, however, if the RPA succeeds in the election and gets the opportunity to form the new government, he hopes that the current team will continue to serve.
