Over 30 Egyptian Coptic Christian families have fled North Sinai after recent deadly attacks by suspected Islamist militants, media reports.

The Coptic Church has condemned the attacks, saying they were targeted at dividing the country. Past weekend, the ISIS released a video message, promising more attacks on Egyptian Christian minority.

The Coptic Christians, who make up about 10% of Egypt, have often been targeted by Islamist extremists in recent years.
