Bitcoin depreciated by 14%, up to $8.700, portal CoinMarketCap reports.

The fall below $9,000 marks the lowest bitcoin has fallen since late November 2017 when it first reached that milestone, while the price of one bitcoin reached all-time high of $20,000 in December, 2017.

According to CoinMarketCap, most cryptocurencies in the market also fell in price, while DigixDAO went up by 38% to $328.

As reported earlier, Facebook banned all ads that promote cryptocurrencies, including bitcoin.
