The State Security Service of Azerbaijan conducted a special operation, during which a member of a radical extremist group was eliminated, Azerbaijani media reported.
According to sources, the terrorist was planning attacks in the northern regions of the country.
Nizami Najafov refused to surrender and responded with armed resistance. The State Security Service officers opened fire and eliminated the terrorist.
