YEREVAN. – The parliamentary commission that investigates the wiretapping of the heads of the National Security Service and the Special Investigation Service of Armenia will discuss the issue of prosecutor's supervision in the criminal case against Armenian second President Robert Kocharyan, RPA MP Gevorg Kostanyan told reporters on Wednesday.

According to him, the Prosecutor's Office is a constitutional body whose main mission is to guarantee the legality of the inquiry and preliminary investigation.

“We also need to discuss the following question: is this case properly monitored in respect of the enforcement of the law?” Kostanyan said.
