YEREVAN. – A man who was taken to hospital from a Yerevan restaurant on Saturday evening is critical, representative of the hospital told Armenian News-NEWS.am.

Sargis Avagyan, who was taken to hospital with a gunshot wound, underwent a surgery, but he is still critical.

Avagyan was taken to hospital from Aygi restaurant where former MP Karo Karapetyan was fatally wounded.

The police said they were alerted on Saturday evening that two men were brought with gunshot wounds to Erebuni and Surb Grigor Lusavorich hospitals in Yerevan. One of them, who appeared to be ex-deputy of the Armenian parliament Karo Karapetyan has died.
