Kalashnikov Concern of Russia will supply Armenia new AK-12 assault rifles, Kommersant reported.

“The deal has been signed,” company CEO Vladimir Dmitriev said. “We are preparing a small batch yet, in which there are about 50 automatic weapons. They [Armenia] will look, test it in practice, and we hope they will continue to buy.”

Dmitriev added that Armenia will become the first foreign country to purchase the AK-12s.
