YEREVAN. – Firefighters have extinguished the fire that had started Monday morning at a building of the Government of Armenia House in capital city Yerevan.

As reported earlier, at 9:03am, the 911 emergency hotline received a report that fire had broken out at the Government House Building No.1.

Six firefighting and rescue squads, a ladder truck, and an emergency response team were dispatched to the scene.

The fire was put out at 9:20am.

But some office furniture and a part of a cable were damaged by the fire. 

No one was injured in the fire.

The Armenian News-NEWS.am reporter at the scene informed that the security officers of this building also had helped extinguish the fire.
