Russian President Vladimir Putin and European Council President Charles Michel discussed the aggravated situation in Idlib over the phone, the Kremlin’s press service said.
The situation in Syria was discussed amid the escalation of tension in the Idlib zone caused by the aggressive actions of terrorist groups, the report said.
Michel informed about the measures being taken to prevent illegal migration to the EU member states.
Special attention has been paid to humanitarian issues. The parties agreed to continue contacts.
