During a parliamentary session today, Minister of Justice of Armenia Rustam Badasyan declared that the Ministry of Justice is planning to fully extirpate criminal subculture from prisons.

According to him, the ministry has taken several actions to improve living conditions at penitentiary institutions and has particularly introduced a new nutrition system through which prisoners eat at cafeterias. The minister also mentioned that the Ministry of Justice has raised the employees’ salaries by 20%.
