YEREVAN. – Parliament Assembly of Council of Europe (PACE) praises amnesty in Armenia.

Amnesty will release all political prisoners in connection with March 2008.

“Releasing political prisoners and making thorough investigation of the ten people deaths on March 1, 2008, will lead to the regulation of political climate. It will cause for a new constructive dialogue between opposition-ruling powers,” reads the PACE report.

PACE is also very inspired by the opposition leader Levon Ter Petrosyan’s announcement to be ready for a dialogue with ruling powers.
