A special court has been established in Iraq and Iran to investigate the assassination of Iranian general Qasem Soleimani and Iraqi commander of the Popular Mobilisation Committee, MEM reported.

They were killed on January 3, 2020, in a US drone strike near Baghdad international airport.

According to the Iranian Ambassador to Iraq Iraj Masjedi, the international courts cannot be expected to take effective action against the murder.

The main persons involved in this case are former US President Donald Trump and American leaders, he added.
