A demonstration, with Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) national flags and banners, took place Tuesday outside the Russian embassy in Armenia.

Also, these protesters chanted "No to terrorism," "Artsakh," and "Freedom to abducted Armenians."

"[University students from Artsakh] Alen, Levon, Vahe were abducted near the Hakari bridge by Azerbaijanis in the presence of Russian peacekeepers. Under their [i.e. the Russian peacekeepers] responsibility, those boys were heading for [Armenia’s capital] Yerevan. Now our demand is very clear: the boys should have come to Yerevan under your responsibility, but now they are not in Yerevan, they are not in Artsakh, they are in [Azerbaijan’s] Baku, they are in captivity, and no one knows what is happening to them at the moment. Just as you took on responsibility to safely take the boys to their destination, now you bear responsibility to get them back from there [i.e. Baku]. We don't give you time to think, find out, conduct some negotiations. You must return them today. There are women, girls here, and imagine for a moment what state the parents of those boys are in," said one of the demonstrators, addressing Russia.
