The duration of the presence of Russian peacekeepers in Karabakh remains undecided, according to Dmitry Peskov, the press secretary of the Russian President. While Russian peacekeepers are currently operating in Azerbaijan's territory, it is too early to determine how long they will remain in the region.

According to TASS, Peskov emphasized that contacts are ongoing with Baku, and the peacekeepers are actively involved in providing assistance and participating in negotiations between Karabakh Armenians and Azerbaijani authorities. The future of their presence will be determined as these efforts progress.

“They (the peacekeepers) are now actually on the territory of Azerbaijan. We continue our contacts with Baku, peacekeepers are providing assistance and are present at the negotiations that have already begun between the Karabakh Armenians and the Azerbaijani authorities. This work is currently ongoing,” Peskov emphasized.
