Journalist Davit Sargsyan has been actually arrested hours after he was detained by red beret police officers at the Yerevan State University, his lawyer Arsen Babayan said.

"We were handed an arrest warrant in violation of the legal deadline (six hours)," he wrote on his Facebook.

Together with Davit Sargsyan, Tsolak Akopyan, a lecturer at the Yerevan State University, had also been detained.
