German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock has revealed that Azerbaijan has pledged to provide access to Nagorno-Karabakh for the international community. In a post on her X microblog, Minister Baerbock emphasized the significance of having an independent assessment of the situation on the ground, particularly at this crucial juncture.
“Azerbaijan has promised to open the door to Nagorno-Karabakh to the eyes & ears of the international community. Having your own, independent picture of the situation on site is more urgent than ever. It is therefore important that the UN visit takes place immediately.
This can only be the beginning. Together with our partners, we are committed to an international observation mission. The people of Nagorno-Karabakh must be confident that they are not alone,” she wrote.
