A march is taking place in Tbilisi to oppose the scandalous law on "foreign agents", the approval of which threatens to bring Georgia into conflict with the EU. Georgian project SOVA reports.

Participants of the rally, who oppose the draft law on "foreign agents" initiated by the leading party "Georgian Dream," will march from Republic Square to the Parliament building.

The marchers marched with posters "No to the Russian law," referring to the draft law "On Transparency of Foreign Influence," which is called "Russian" because of its imitation of Russian legislation.

Numerous flags of Georgia and the European Union can be seen near the people gathered for the march.

Organizers of the rally plan to unveil an action plan to fight the law, which Georgian Dream withdrew a year ago after mass protests.

Local media report a large-scale mobilization of law enforcers near the government administration.
