The Azerbaijani party will continue its efforts to hold Armenia accountable not only at the International Court of Justice, but also within the framework of arbitration processes. Aykhan Hajizada, Director of the Press Service Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) of Azerbaijan, told this to reporters.
Hajizada added that this process is continuous, it will last about 2-3 years, and he cannot specify the exact timeframe.
The Azerbaijan MFA reacted in this was to Tuesday's decision by the International Court of Justice (ICJ), where the latter rejected the two objections submitted by Azerbaijan in the case of Armenia v. Azerbaijan. However, the ICJ accepted two of the three preliminary objections by Armenia.
Azerbaijan is silent on the rejection of its objections. Instead, its MFA threatens with new lawsuits against Armenia.
