YEREVAN.- Heritage Party representative Vaham Mkhitaryan says ARF Dashnaktsutyun was giving bribes during the Communists’ rally in Vanadzor city on May 1.

Vaham Mkhitaryan, head of Heritage campaign headquarters, informed Armenian News-NEWS.am that he was told that AMD 5,000 was offered to the voters.

According to reports received by Heritage Party, representatives of Orinats Yerkir and ARF Dashnaktsutyun were offering bribes in Armavir city (21st electoral district).

Opposition Heritage Party is a liberal party founded in 2002. The leader is the first Armenian Foreign Minister Raffi Hovannisian. Heritage and Free Democrats Party are running for the parliament with joint proportional list. Heritage has also nominated MP candidates with the majority election system.

The Armenian Revolutionary Federation (ARF) Dashnaktsutyun is one of the oldest Armenian political parties. It was founded in the end of 19th century. Party’s proportional list includes 85 candidates. Eight candidates will run for an MP seat with majority system. The party’s motto is ‘Freedom, Justice, Dashnaktsutyun.’
