YEREVAN. – The “League of Arab States” model-conference was convened Saturday in Armenia’s capital, Yerevan.

At the event, thirty students from Yerevan universities played the role of the Council of the League of Arab States and the ambassadors of observer countries, and offered their suggestions for resolving the Iran issue.

Director Artak Shakaryan of the School for Young Leaders informed that this model-conference is being held in the region for the first time.

He especially underscored the fact that the youth are reflecting on the Iran issue.

“We must try to predict the developments in connection with Iran and the regional reaction,” he stressed.

The “League of Arab States” model-conference is not for educational purposes alone, and it also improves the university students’ skills in conducting negotiations, maintaining a good communication,  and reaching an agreement.
