YEREVAN. – Armenia’s Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan received Henning Pedersen, International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) Country Programme Manager for Armenia, who arrived in the country in connection with the end of his mission.
“Our long-term cooperation has given positive results. We highly appreciate your personal involvement in the implementation of the programs. Your experience and knowledge have always been useful for us, and the tangible legacy is the vivid testimony of this. I am also glad that the cooperation with IFAD is continuing,” Tigran Sargsyan noted, the Government Press Service informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.
In his turn, Henning Pedersen spoke with satisfaction about the IFAD-funded programs in Armenia and highly evaluated the Government’s assistance provided in that regard.
The interlocutors exchanged views on the ongoing IFAD-funded programs in the country, and Pedersen informed that the IFAD delegation is expected to pay its next visit to Armenia this fall.
At the end of the meeting, the PM handed a letter of gratitude to IFAD Country Programme Manager for Armenia.
