In the 21st century those nations are rich, which work productively. Motivation for the civilization is the energy spent by humans.

Armenia, as a rule, is beyond the European nations on work productivity level. It is not even leading among the CIS states.

People are usually involved in agriculture, followed by trade and services (hotel business, restaurants, car repair) fields. At the same time, the decrease of people involved in the industry is getting concerning.

Another main field Armenians deal with is construction. The number of workers overpasses the indicator of 2001 but is lower than in the pre-crisis period of 2008.
