The 20th Armenian Festival was held in the City of Alexandria of the US State of Virginia.

The event was organized by the Committee of Alexandria-Gyumri Sister Cities, The Knights of Vartan NGO and Alexandria City Hall, with assistance by the Armenian Embassy in the United States.  

Armenian national music, dance, and cuisine were presented during the Festival, which brought together thousands.  

Representatives from the City Hall and the Embassy welcomed the attendants with opening remarks. 

To note, the Mayor of Alexandria has declared June 2 as Armenia Day in Alexandria.
